Matthew would have turned 13 on April 5, 2009, just 8 days after a tragic dirt biking accident took his life. Matthew was riding his dirt bike on an outdoor track, when he slipped on loose sand and dumped his bike. Just seconds after he fell another biker landed on him, killing him instantly. Matthew was a funny, happy, kind, considerate, and silly boy. He had a contagious smile that will be forever remembered by everyone who had the opportunity to meet him. Matthew had a very special bond with his Grandpa Jim. He especially enjoyed riding grandpa's jet ski. Grandpa Jim misses him dearly.
Matthew will forever be in our hearts. There is not a minute that goes by that I don't think about him. It brings me comfort knowing he is in the Lord's hands now. I love you Matt Man. Rest in Peace.
